Over 30+ years he has led teams responsible for award-winning branding and creative work in every medium imaginable, serving businesses from local startups to national brands—including 8 years running the agency he and his partner founded.
He has served as the CMO of one of the nation’s largest CPA firms, as the Director of Creative Services for the University of Tennessee, and as a science museum interactive exhibit designer for the U.S. Department of Energy.
Before his creative career, Dan served in U.S. Army military intelligence and later the Tennessee Army National Guard, trading intel briefings for helicopter rides.
He’s an “ok” pickleball player, a half-decent fisherman, and spends more time than he should shooting skeet when he’s not rebuilding old motorcycles.
Dan holds an M.S. degree in public relations and a B.F.A. in graphic design from the University of Tennessee.
